Dylan lives in Bristol, England. Via a degree in Illustration, he has been painting portraits from childhood to present day, working in a variety of media from photographs.

Major artistic influences include Edward Hopper, Max Beckmann, Henri Matisse, Felix Vallotton, Ceri Richards, Edgar Degas and Gwen John.

Working in education, third sector and a range of artistic professions, has also informed his visual and non-visual understanding of the human being and humanity.

In addition to painting and drawing, Dylan practices photography, writing and recording music and film-making.
